An overview of the SBB formwork and tank construction
The SBB patented formwork system guarantees that the systems remain highly leak-proof in the long-term. Flexible large format formwork elements allow precise circular constructions.
Concrete surfaces that are permanently free of pores and blowholes on the outer and inner walls are created using non-absorbent, absorbent or draining formwork surfaces and the unique SBB concreting process.
Construction parts such as base plates, ring walls or ceilings are therefore free of through-tie, free of working joints and monolith. Horizontal work
joints between construction parts are created in accordance with DIN 18541.
Round tank constructed in a lowering process
Optimisation of standard steel or concrete tanks by retrofitting walls
Reinforce concrete construction
Underground and elevated tanks
Live load: 5 KN/m2, 12to LKW, 30 to SLW, 60 to SLW, soil covering, special loads
Open or with a ceiling (freely suspended / central support / ring carrier or wall)
All constructions are erected using prefabricated reinforced concrete. The benefits: Shorter construction times, more economic. They correspond to the DIN standards EN 206-1, 1045-2 and 1045-3.
